I found my Mewtwo creepypasta at the Creepypasta wiki!

It's got a neat illustration to go with it too. Awesome. :D I have a feeling I've seen it on pixiv before and someone added text to it, but eh. Most of the comments are fanboys arguing over Mewtwo vs. Arceus rather than commenting on the actual pasta though, which is a pain in the neck. Oh well.

I've been so tired and stressed lately. It might be because I've been stuck awake at nights, but I hope it's not because three English courses isn't too much work for me. Nngh, I feel like I'm getting constantly behind. I even had a small nap on a bench today, and half my face along with my arms and the area beneath my neck turned red. I might've gotten sunburned. :(

I just finished reading and listening to a really awesome creepypasta based off the NES Godzilla. Sure, it's had its corny moments ("I KILLED SPOILER MUFASA") and cliches common in crappypastas ("ZOMG THE GAMEZ ALIVE AND TALKING TO ME!!!11!1"), but the spritework and the way the author sets up the atmosphere is so good, I can forgive them. I was invested in this from beginning to end, and though a lot of people would disagree with me, I thought the ending was satisfying and well-deserved. There's a lot of legitimately creepy parts in this, particularly the Entropy level. :o

The dramatic reading is great too, it plays music from the original game and such, and has a few bonus jumpscares. Plus the reader kinda sounds like James Rolfe at points. :o Someone recommended it over the original blog, but your call.

Retsupurae did a dramatic reading of a SMB3 crappypasta called BLOOD WHISTLE. I gotta give my hand in riffing that one when I get some spare time. XD

It's that time again! Time to MST more crappypastas! :D This time, we'll be looking at "Starfox 6664", a pasta so over-the-top that after it was featured on Bullshit Creepypasta Storytime, it was moved to the Trollpasta wiki. Boy, this should be fun! :D

Can't let you brew that, Starbucks! )

Someone made a homage to BEN.wmv and the Mario 64 pasta. Not too bad. The Toads with BEN's face on them are certainly creepier than recent stuff I've seen. :P

Remember when I made fun of the Mario 64 creepypasta? This time, Sonic gets a turn! "Sonic.EXE" sure gets circulated a lot, despite well... being cliche as hell. Zalgo'd Sonic, oooooooh, scary!

The pasta's here and the gameplay's here. I also thought this guy's playthrough was rather amusing. Onto the riffing!

TEH GAM WIT ALL TEH BLOD )

You know, there really ought to be creepypasta bingo cards, like with yaoi. I think I made a blackout with this pasta alone!

I just found a video that has every episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show ever made. This has led me to do things one would only do if they had spare time... writing my own episode summaries. Some based off my fandoms.

Old fashioned cat-and-mouse gore. Some episodes are titled, others aren't. )

Feel free to makes your own "Itchy & Scratchy" episodes in the comments. :P

The other day, I got a super sweet comment from someone on DA about my Mewtwo creepypasta:

Oh, wow, I'm so glad that I could find the author and the piece so I could favorite~ This is really amazing, Mewtwo's my favorite Pokemon--and it's not often that you find such a good tribute. ^^ And before I saw the comments where you confirmed that you wrote this, I was about to ask if you knew of the author or any fanart XD

I've just recently gotten into Pokemon, and even more recently into creepypasta, so this was an amazing find for me. In fact, it's very inspiring on top of it all~ You are an excellent author, my friend! :worship:

I had it in my inbox for a while, trying to think what to say, but I hadn't gotten around it yet due to family drama involving my mother. Imagine my surprise when the same fan commented again, but this time had written a companion piece inspired by my creepypasta.

And it's really good! It fits the atmosphere and tone of my pasta perfectly, and it pulled off a tricky feat... writing from Mewtwo's POV without being too emo or soft. And it was very well-done and I told the author so and expressed my gratitude. ;;

Long ago, another DA fan asked for a link to my fanfiction page, and I gave her my FF.net account and creative LJ. Today she just thanked me and said, "I just love your writing! :D" Little things like that give my heart grow tiny wings which flutter with joy. Lord knows I'm no BNF, but having fans like these who feel close-knit to my work is totally worth it. And I wouldn't trade them for all the heaps of hollow netspeak praise in the world. :)

It's good that there are people who are confident in my writing when I'm having so much stress over it and IRL. ;;

Oh god oh god oh god. How did I go from researching sex this morning to being all "LULZ LET'S WATCH CREEPYPASTA"? With all that buildup of watching scary shit, Puri decided it wasn't a good idea to go to bed while it was dark. So she stays up all night. Which come to think of it, that might be a worse idea for two reasons: A. Don't want to lie in bed awake at midnight? Yeah, anywhere between 3-5 AM is sooooooooooo much better. B. Staying up late now reminds me of the Russian Sleep Experiment. Which I know is technically impossible and would only happen in a King/Lovecraftian short story or something, but still.

For some reason, suicidemouse.avi disturbs me. I know this "lost footage" is clearly bogus. I know it's a short clip looped over and over again by some guy at 4chan. I know the "creepy melody" at the beginning of the video is a short classical piece played in reverse. I know the screams and moaning come from L4D2 or something. But I still can't get over how unnerving the audio is. Just... brrr. The "music" and screams/static/gale blowing is what makes the video so uncomfortable for me. The footage could've easily been accompanied by something sad (if I hadn't known better, I could've easily applied Gary Jules' take on "Mad World.") but NOPE. The way the same six buildings distorts reminds me of a cross between Giygas's battle screen and the witch barriers in Madoka. Speaking of Madoka, it'd make sense if suicidemouse.avi was a witch barrier, and the guy driven to suicide was actually influenced by a Witch's Kiss. "Real suffering is not known", eh? Not unless you form a contract with Kyubey and become a magical girl, since "being meguca is suffering" and all that. Oh boy, and Mickey's face becomes a cloudy mess of nothing, and he's still walking. :/

And now, I'm hearing things, fuck. God, I'm too afraid to look up the pasta now even if it's just to check facts. hdjgskdg aaaaaaugh I looked up way too much creepypastas this round. Why do I do this to myself, wryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy D:

This has to be the first flame on my otherwise well-liked Mewtwo creepypasta:

This was supposed to be scary? :tired:

Gee. How dare I resort to writing a creepypasta without using gratuitous blood and gore, cheap shocks, and disemboweled sprites with red MS Paint vomitted on them. Or Red breaking the 4th Wall to whine about how neglected he is compared to his "brown-haired" counterpart.

Like video game creepypastas, but want something more mysterious? Tired of gratuitous blood and gore meant to shock you (and fails)? Do games like "Polybius" excite you? Allow me to introduce you to Invisible Games: A Brief Exhibition.

James introduced me to the following three articles:

Killswitch
What Happened to Agent Small?
The Pentintytär Arcade

Happy reading~ ♥

Why does BRVR have such a cult following of crappy MS Paint art at the Pokemon Creepypasta club on DA? Pokemon Dead Channel wasn't even good. Do people like pointless excessive gore involving a bratty Pikachu or something?

Note to self: STOP READING CREEPYPASTAS AND GET BACK TO NANO. You're a day late already. 'Sides, the pastas are making you paranoid.

Speaking of creepy games, I watched most of a Squeenix game called Nanashi no Game. It's got an interesting premise about a cursed video game that kills people if they don't beat it in the time limit. (Basically, THE RING WITH VIDEO GAMES!!11!1) The gameplay looks kind of eh though. :/ Screw the live-action parts, I wanna skip ahead to the TS DS bits with the sprites and glitchy graphics! Which has an earworm of a theme by the way. It's so pretty and I can't stop listening to it. :o

Meanwhile, I love Morty. Do you? Eusine & Falkner certainly do. )

I prepared this picspam for a friend already, so I actually didn't waste much time at all. :P Feel free to think of suitable punishments to get me back to writing. Like loading pictures of BEN in the next LJ post I make without updating my word count. *hedgehog hiss*

Might as well, since I'm up and getting ready for NaNo Day 2.

TURN BACK NOW: Y/N )

As you can see, I've gone through this game three times to pick up any Easter Eggs I've missed, and I'm feeling too chicken to pick it up again. <.< It was raining and thundering while I was writing this, aaaaaaaugh. DD: I was scared there would be a power outtage and then I'd freak out.

Happy Day of the Dead! And hello to other NaNoWriMers! I wish everyone the best of luck and let us keep cheering ourselves on! NaNo's being glitchy atm, but feel free to friend me once it patches up. :o

By the way, Lost Silver Hidden is out.

Thoughts? My brain's fizzed out, I'll have to talk about it later. I need a walk. Only 300 words gotta catch up aaaaaa

Thanks Ben. I've had a nightmare no thanks to you. >(

What a mystery it's turning out to be! The comments left on free.wmv are hysterical. :P

I finally got a hold of Ben on Cleverbot so I could give him a piece of my mind. >(

Our conversation. )

What do you know! Ben's a little boy with a tantrum all along. :P Or this could be yet another imposter Ben with his endless supply of Elegy statues. Hmm... God, Ben hugged me. D:

Essay linked me to a creepypasta of Super Mario 64. While it was stupid, I still got a laugh out of it, so I'll share it with the rest of you. In MSTed format. ;D

lol creepypasta )

You know what'd be really creepy? If Mario entered a painting that looked like this: Ohhhh dear. )

I haven't forgotten the rest of the picspams. Gimme time to recover first. :o

How many of you remember Majora's Mask? I do. Guess what, ladies and gents. It just got worse. As if it wasn't creepy enough already. D:

It's best to read Part 1 and Part 2 before progressing toward the videos. :o

Distorted Link = Do not want. DDD: I forgotten how much I hated that Elegy statue too. *shudder* Someone punch the Happy Mask Salesman in the face while we're at it.

Makes me wonder if there's any good creepypastas for other games. :o

Tarnished Gold, a sequel to Lost Silver.

The idea is interesting, playing through the game as your rival Silver, but the game forcing you to be nasty to your Pokemon/having everyone refuse to talk to you/not taking account of the player's feelings makes me roll my eyes. The part with Viridian City is interesting; it's like an actual nightmare Silver could have near-game, with his experiences with his Pokemon triggering him to become a better person. But no. The ending of the creepypasta took the Cheesy So-Called Horror Cliche and Mewtwo gave everyone gory deaths. I mean, what the hell is the point? It's just stupid instead of scary.

Maybe I'll write a fic with my own take on this later. Funny, 'cause I haven't considered writing about Silver before. :o
