Me: *browsing my FF.net profile and Favorites* Uhh... why is one of my favorite stories rated "M"? oO;;

And that, kids, is how I learned of FF.net's new rating system. I can imagine a lotta people whining about this soon. XDD I can get used to it, considering it's a lot like video game ratings, "M" for Mature, "T" for Teen... though "K" and "K+" for G and PG I find bizarre. That's like... saying it's "E" for Everyone and "E+" for Everyone+. So uh, how I put it...

K = Kid
K+ = Kid+, aka Preteen. What, a 6-year-old swallowed a Super Mushroom?
T = Teen
M = Mature Older dudes.
MA = Adult. Not that we haven't saw that rating on T.V. before...

Funky rating system, that. *shrug* Movie ratings make my life easier, if you ask me... and the world needs 15+. It could be like how TokyoPop rates their manga, it's very specific. :3 T, OT, M... I don't know why. I find ratings fun for some reason. I love reading about them and why a certain movie is rated PG-13 or something. Like, drugs, violence? Disturbing images? Thematic elements? It's interesting. I remember as a kid looking at the back of the old movies and read that "________" is rated R, and I'd think, "...Why?" Which is why I love today's rating system, 'cause now you look at the back of VHS and DVD copies of stuff rated PG-R, and they tell you why. Melikes that. Of all the many things people can think up... and imagine telling a person this: "my fic is PG-13 for Sci-Fi violence, mild language, thematic elements, and scenes of peril. Have a nice life! :D"

*sigh* Easter candy. Mmm.
