Yeah, those are pretty much spot on! Unfortunately. The only one I disagree with is #2, which seems like a stupid complaint of, "Baawww Japanese is hard for people to learn!" when it should be "Even if you struggle for years to become fluent and eventually do become fluent in Japanese, you will still be treated the same as someone who can barely get out a basic greeting."

That's what I thought, too. It really depends on how much time you're willing to spend on learning a language, among other factors. That'd be like saying Spanish is too hard to learn in general while some ace it while others struggle.

I had to use a fax machine at my work every day. But that's because courts don't like e-mail and mailing documents to them is either frowned upon or not fast enough*.

Yeah, my office was a couple blocks from one, but I'm not running to them five times a day. I'd like to (exercise and fun!) but it's not gonna happen.

The best part was sending a fax and finding out you needed to dial one first. Or dialing one and finding out you didn't need to. Stupid unpredictable fax system.

* - There was one lawyer who sent us faxes who's office was (I shit you not) across the street. I think legally you have to send faxes or mail, but the idea that we could just go across the street was awesome.
