Dad and I caught up a lot in Maurice, and next time we're starting Part 4~ You know that feeling you get while you read a chapter that's got you excited and you're thinking, "...Whoa. I liked you before, book, and now this is reeeeeeally getting good! :o" That kind of... profoundness. That's Chapter 37 for me. (Me: "Wow, Maurice should've taken hypnotism earlier! :o He's way less of a jerk than he was earlier!") Dad seems to feel the same as I do, and oh boy oh boy oh boy~ ♥

Sara Jaye and I watched most of the Jirachi movie despite technical issues. We'll finish next time~

Meanwhile... I think I found my new favorite tumblr. (Magicastuck: a Homestuck AU in the Puella Magi Madoka Magica universe)

I finally got around to reading Homestuck last week and I'm now officially a total fan. I don't know what Puella Magi Madoka Magica is, but that Dave transformation gif is epic :D

Yay~! Homestuck is love indeed~ ♥ I like Madoka more for the ideas than the execution, but YMMV. :o It's only 12 episodes long and they're just bringing the DVDs over to the US, nom.

It depends. It's an ongoing webcomic with a looooooooooooooooooooot of pages to catch up on (it might take... a month or so to catch up, depending on how fast you read), with a complicated plot/multiple timeline(s), and it depends whether or not you like the humor and if you're okay with reading pesterlogs (which has online chat quirks that take getting used to). I do love the characters though, and there's a lot of shipping possibilities too. (One of the characters, Nepeta, has her own shipping wall!) Rose/Kanaya in my icon here is a particularly popular ship, and it helps that Kanaya is a canon lesbian as well. :)
