Actually I have no idea if that's even remotely true, but whenever a wasp comes near me, my instinct is to freeze up like a statue until it goes away in case it sees my flailing as a threat and attacks XD;; I've only been stung twice, but my main fear stems from my childhood friend getting stung on his tongue (yes, tongue) and going into anaphylactic shock at the playground ;_;

Oh gods, no. I can't imagine being stung on the tongue. Getting stung on my back was bad enough. DDD:
Both times I was stung, it was on the back ^^; Painful, but bearable. But when my friend got stung in his mouth, his whole face swelled up and he couldn't breathe and had to go to hospital and we were only about 5 or 6 at the time and it was horrible D:
When I was a child my 9-year-old cousin did a cartwheel directly on a bees' nest that was on the floor. (I have no idea if it was actually bees; it could be anything, I am using the term in its vaguest form possible.) The bees got, understandably pissed, and stung my even younger cousin on the tongue and stung my cartwheeling cousin all over. I ran like hell and luckily didn't get stung. (My first bee sting happened when some of them decided that they wanted to build a nest in the corner of my garage door and then I opened the garage door and nobody was happy. I got stung on the back of my neck, though. Not my tongue.)
Your story is 1000x worse because of the anaphylactic shock, God, that must have been terrifying, I'm really sorry.
Despite that I still like bees. ....Every other type of hive-like flying stinging creature is on my "be fucking wary" list, though. I will stay very still now o_o
I hate wasps so much. D: My god, you should see my face when I read about the Japanese Hornet. (http://www.cracked.com/article_15816_the-5-most-horrifying-bugs-in-world.html)
I'm torn between "SO TRUE" and "...But I'm allergic, anyway! D:" /missing the point what
And yeah, you should probably cut it for those with phobias... :c The one time the object of my huge phobia appeared on my flist, I literally cried. /_\
Well, if you're allergic, that's another story. XD Though bee-hate makes me sad (unless it's the Africanized bee, which our poor regular bees get mixed up with all the time) due to them dying out, I have no sympathy for wasps whatsoever. >(
Well, they're on a flower minding their business, and you sort of...lightly pet their butt with your index finger? They ignore you because you're busy. They are so soft and fuzzy asdl;kjaeljrkar they feel exactly like you think they'd feel. I love bumblebees.
Ah, I meant how does getting stung attract more bees into stinging you? ^^;;;; But daaaaaw. Petting bumblebees sounds adorable. ;; I just never had the courage 'cause I didn't want to bother them into thinking I was hurting them. ^^;;;
