nerrin, I'm lame. ;; I don't have a lot of stuff saved on architecture/scenery. ;; I hope what I have makes up for it?
Crystal Cave of the Giants!
You know the Hidden Palace Zone and all those giant crystal areas in Sonic games? This is the real deal. I remember NetRaptor posting this in her journal and my jaw dropping from the sheer unbelievable of it all.
...Oh screw this, I might as well hunt for photos.
Anyone seen the Jirachi movie? They based Fauns (aka Forina in the dub) off this gorgeous site in Hunan Province, China known as Wulingyuan. Look at those pillars! :o
Obviously needs mist, nomnomnom~ ♥
So green! I'm a sucker for steep/canyon/plataeu places like this. :)
Daw, there's a little road.
THE reason I want to go to Barcelona. Darkrai movie be damned, this is incredible. Look how nautical it is! It's like Gaudi carved this out of a stalagmite in a cave or something. And hundreds of years later, it still isn't done. You'll see a ton of construction pieces as we move along. :o
It's like the Wizard of Oz or M1!Magicant here. :o
Wow, just... wow. Let's not waste anytime and go in! Are those hands sticking out of the stone?
