Mike Myers in The Cat in the Hat.

I felt like everything about my life was raped. Childhood, reading Dr. Seuss books, how I ever felt about movies... if there is a media hell, it's in Cat in the Hat. Even thinking about it gives me the worst migraine possible. No amount of MSTing will ever save this piece of tripe. It's sheer torture. A perfect way to make yourself fire the biggest bullet in your cranium possible. That's how beastly this film is.

Anything by Eddie Murphy joins the cesspool. God put me out of my misery.

I've never seen this film, but I've heard nothing but horrible reviews on it that basically beg to know why the film directors had to go and pee on Dr. Suess' grave by making this film. And I here I was thinking the live action adaptation of "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" with Jim Carey was bad; I so prefer the original animated version. But apparently "The Cat in the Hat" makes "Grinch" look like "Gone With The Wind".

I tolerated Cat in the Hat because I'm a sucker for over-done CGI, but then they made some lewd crack about the Cat and the plumber butt. And there was no saving it for me after that point. I was just like, ;_; DR. SEUSS. NO, DR. SEUSS. WHY YOU DO DIS TO DR. SEUSS?

Once you get sucked into the abyss, there is no crawling back out. And now my brain has broken itself all over again.

I'm not too fond of Cat in the Hat either, but now to contribute to the topic...

I was never a fan of Ice Age, but at least the plot was okay at best. However, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown was total garbage in my opinion. I mean, really? A mammoth that thought it was a possum or whatever the crap it was. Sorry, but I don't think that movie was funny at all. I certainly don't plan on seeing the third one.

The ancient tape with the Cat and the Hat animated cartoon was so much better. D:

Eh, I never seen Ice Age, but don't care much about 'em to see them either. Geez, let the poor creature keep his acorn already. :/

I still remember the TV trailers for Cat in the Hat. That alone made me not want to see it. The cat was portrayed as the most obnoxious thing in existence. If that cat was in my house, I'd have kicked it out the window.

CAT IN THE HAT?? moar liek CAT IN THE HATE
