Dad lost his job. Again.

No wonder I napped through almost all of yesterday. Just to get away from Mom and Dad exploding at each other again.

Dear god, someone get me out of this nightmare. But what can I do, me at twenty-one who's still never been employed or learned to drive? Me who went to college for two years and utterly failed to get a degree?

I have no idea what's going on anymore. But it's looking damn dismal.

This is where distance sucks. I am desperate to move out of the family home as well and if we were closer I would totally say OKAY, YOU AND ME, LETS SHARE A FLAT. :<

Stay strong Puri. I'm sure the rest of the Pokedressers will agree with me on this too.

Ugh, I hate it when my parents get into a heated argument with each other. It's happened so long that it's become a trigger for panic attacks.

Stay strong, Puri. I know that listening to your parents argue can be overwhelming, but this is how some people cope with their problems. No marriage is without its hardships, after all.

I wish I could find some way to help you out myself. But alas, a few thousand miles prove to be a difficult obstacle. D:

Try not to worry, Puri. If things have gone down, they can only come back up. You can make it, I know you can.

I'm sorry to hear. :C I kinda know it feels on the one hand of parents fighting, and it is tough. You can make it, though, and it'll be okay, I hope. *hug*

D: As long as you don't start feeling like you need to jump out of a second storey window to feel 'better' about them fighting, you should be fine. Just listen to some music and try to relax, they'll get over it.

....Otherwise, you could have a problem >>; And if it makes you feel better, I'm out of school after being there for two years myself. And am paying for $4400 worth of debt that I didn't even bring upon myself. Things will work out in the end but my god it takes forever it feels.

Sorry to hear. Wait, went? You dropped out? :( C'mon puri, you're brilliant (i've seen and assisted with some of your writing). I know you can kick college ass!

I haven't written about the following. It's not all that private; I just don't consider it my business to write about it. And I mainly talk about things to friends when the opportunity presents itself, like it has now. So: my dad has been on unemployment since late 2008. That's part of the reason why he's going back to school soon; he's getting financial help through unemployment.

Maybe you can tell your Dad about unemployment, you guys can research it, etc. It could be the right option for him until he figures out the next step.

I forgot about the affordability issue. If that's the reason you had to leave, I understand.

I know it's not much, but... I hope you'll be okay. ♥
