I wish I could sing like that. Seriously, I love it. I wasn't sure how I felt about a woman singing this song, but it's beautiful. Because you don't do what most people do and imitate the original voices, but instead you use your own. You know, like a singer. XD;

*sniffle* It makes me so happy you say that. ;; And personally I always found it most important to use your own voice than someone else's. Isn't theater about multiple interpretations on the same role? If everyone tried to sound like say, Cariou or Lansbury, as amazing as they are, it's them who bring their own voices to life, not everyone else who tries to imitate them. "Always be a first-rate version of yourself and not a second-rate version of somebody else" as Judy Garland said. Whenever I sing Evanescence, I don't try to sound like Amy Lee. I just sing! (Though oddly enough, people tell me I sound like her when I sing. And I'm not even trying! XD)

I rarely want to play a character of opposite sex, but gosh, if I could be Sweeney, that would be sweet. :o

Nam agrees with Macabre_Soren. :D You have a goregous voice; I'm guessing second soprano or an alto? You hit the notes on Lovett side pretty well, so it feels like a toss-up between those two.

I'm a first soprano actually. :o I started out with Green Finch and Linnet Bird, but I hadn't warmed up enough. I sang My Friends around three times looking for lapses/mistakes and trying to fix the computer mike so it wouldn't screech static when I hit high notes. @.@ So after the third time and being frustrated, I just gave up. XDDDD;;;
