2008 started out with high hopes, but Obama aside, mostly ended in disappointment. So that was blah. Let's hope 2008 will be better. :3

Your favourite film watched this year? WALL-E, Beetlejuice, Pink Floyd's The Wall, Perfect Blue. Dark Knight and Ironman for runnerups.

Your favourite book read this year? Puri feels awful because she hadn't had time to read a lot this year. :( I really liked the following, though, and both authors are named Stephen: King's Misery and Colbert's I AM AMERICA (AND SO CAN YOU!). I started Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita a while back and am liking it a whole lot. :o

Your favourite album or song to listen to this year? Sweeney Todd oh man oh man. XD But definitely Pink Floyd's "The Wall". The Trial = Most-Fucked-Up-But-Best-Sequence-Ever. I've been listening to Patrick Wolf - Magpie the last few days as well. Other hits include:

Favourite story this year: The Teddy/Loid RP Jean and I did, entitled Beneath the Shades. I still wibble every time I read it. ;; I also liked Planet Purgatory a lot.

My best story this year: Ah ha. AH HA HA HA HA. I SUCK. XDDDDDDDDDDD If by best you mean "most highly acclaimed" that would be: Fragile Discretion, Secret Spot, and For All That Tomorrow Might Bring. Especially the latter two and my Earthbound smut-related drabbles at the Smash Bros. Kink Meme. XDDD;;; Qualitywise, I have to say I'm especially proud of Anhedonia because I really feel like I've nailed the Minches. :o

Most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion: I wrote my sister a Zelda drabble for her birthday called Destined. Go figure, she never read it. :P

Most fun story: All of my Rps with Jean, and the Ness/Paula one (Tonight With You) with Liane~ ♥ Fragile Discretion was fun 'cause I was on Tenacious D high and I was finally writing the Chaotix. XD

Sexiest story: Beneath the Shades and His Nirvana with Jean, and A Cloud's Silver Lining (Jean) and Tonight With You (Liane) for the added fluff factor~ ♥ There's also Secret Spot and Better Than Chocolate. Someone requested a Red/Lucas/Ness threesome with chocolate syrup and I aimed to please. Yum~ ♥ X333

"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story: Hurt? XD *shot* The Green Grass of Winters for the subject matter definitely. D: Beautiful Liar the Giegue/George incest raep*time drabble freaked a lot of people out. XD Butterfly was a teenie drabble with crucifixion, and in Why Mewtwo Disappeared From Brawl, Kirby characters have a yaoi orgy. XDD;;; I haven't finished any Yume Nikki fics yet! XD Or started on the REAL Giegue & George horrorfic... *INSTITUTIONALIZE'D*

Story that shifted my own perceptions of the characters: An incomplete fanfic under working title The Grace about Alberto/Tonio. Basically the more I write about Tonio, Alberto and Alamos to people, the more fascinated I become. Especially Tonio, dear god. oO;;; And that explains my unhealthy love/hate obsession with Movie 10. Writing the Minches in Anhedonia was fun, even if Pokey isn't my favorite character. I have fun writing him, and Planet Purgatory shows that. oO;;; It's also thanks to Rps with Jean that A. I always portray Ninten (A Cloud's Silver Lining) as an adorkable dumbass. B. I always wibble meeting Tony (The Green Grass of Winters) because I'm 99.98% convinced what happened to him in our RP was real. C. I love love love love love writing Poo (His Nirvana) and Teddy (Beneath the Shades). Seriously. They're my favorites to write. ;; Beneath the Shades sealed the deal with Teddy/Loid being one of my all-time favorite OTPs and His Nirvana not only made me like Ness/Poo but fangirl it. "Eh, sounds like generic pretty*boi stuff to--oh my god. Oh my god." *_____*

Hardest story to do: The Green Grass of Winters. BECAUSE OF THE FUCKING RAPE. PURI WAS BAWLING. Jean and I kept getting delayed too, that was a pain. @.@;;;

Biggest surprise: I wrote a non-spectacular fic for Zelda and a WALL-E drabble that garnered attention? Rise of Darkrai for sure though. Alberto/Tonio. @.@;;;

Most revealing story: Like I'd know. <.< Hurt displays my current mood, I guess?

I always have fun having a peep at people's fandom/general life New Year's evaluations. :) And it's nice recapping your fanfics, since you do so many I kinda forget which ones you wrote this year and which ones you wrote last year. @_@ As to your favourite story, Beneath The Shades is definately one of my favourites of yours this year (well, half-yours). I thought the characterisation was brilliant. And the smut was appropriately covered, too. :) So, I guess I could tell it was one of your favourites, since it was done so well!
