At least you can laugh at badfic. But bad fiction, everyone just ACCEPTS it as truth.

Real fiction is really hit or miss, just like fanfiction. Which is sad, but at least the bad stuff makes the good stuff shine even brighter in comparison~

This is why I shy away from a lot of books aimed at "my age-group and gender". Of course, I generally hiss and spit at any romance book in general because it's always the same: the girls are either weepy and jealous, or bitchy and "not interested, buuuut....". D=< Kinda sucks when you automatically hate female characters because you know all they're going to do is be a minor complication and love interest rolled in one.

As for bad fiction, I can't read most of today's stuff because like with much of today's music and television and such it seems to be only created for a quick dollar instead for the enjoyment of the readers. That makes me sad. T_T
