I used to keep parakeets, including one that looked just like the one in that picture. My last one was a rare yellow one that a lot of people mistook for a canary, and she held on longer than any pet I've ever owned (she lived for a whopping 16 years!). After she died I decided I wasn't going to keep birds anymore.
