Rules: The rules are easy, just post 10 things that recently made you happy! Then tag 10 people and force them to post this meme on their LJs. Because it is good. Everyone needs a little happiness once in a while.
1. I finished my essay. FUCK YEAH. Now I just need to revise it and print it, but other than that, I'm SO ready. I got the hard part done and now that it's off my shoulders, I feel so relieved. *_____________*
2. I might play Smash Bros. again. I want to practice Ness when I come home for Thanksgiving Break. :3
3. That is, if my brother doesn't have Mario & Sonic: Olympics (But yeah. Immediately playing Shadow and Yoshi, go figure. Maybe Vector for heavy-hitters) and Mario Galaxy. Holy fuck, those are first priority. *_______* It'll feel good playing a Wii and Gamecube again.
4. I have to ask girls who live in Corpus Christi if they're willing to lend me a car ride and shared expenses. I find the idea of travelling with someone else's family awesome for some reason.
5. I've been pleased with my writing as of late. I finally started Nights of Genesis! :o It stinks because my first typed draft is stuck in my broken computer, but I started it! *_____________* Plus, you know what Bulgakov said: Manuscripts don't burn.
6. Almost done withsoulrockcandy 's Jeff/Tony Pr0ntoberfic! I just need to start over a scene, rewrite everything and... yeah. It currently needs a lotta surgery, but it's almost done! Progressed a hell of a lot more than Puri's other stuff, that's for sure! XDDDD
7. I've been starting to play Pokémon again! I'm making a comparison between two Pikachus before testing out Flaafies. Goddammit, why are their Special Attacks so low? .______.;;; Great, I trade for Speed and I get lousy Defense and Special Attack. I need more fast Pokémon because too many on my team aren't quick enough to get a first turn, but when I get fast AND powerful Pokes, they can't last 50 milliseconds on the battlefield. Fuck. But the good news is I've got two team members to the highest level yet, which is Poo the Gallade and Tanya-Lee the Glaceon at Level 60! ;333 I'm catching up Tikal the high-50s Milotic, since my beloved CHAOS the Manaphy is Level 63~ ♥ *giggle*
8. When I get home, I'll be likely to trade/battle again. And I'll be receiving Deryck's Shiny Shaymin~ ♥♥♥ *SQUEAL*
9. No more Wendy's food when I get home. Nom nom nom.
10. How crisp this computer screen is. Mmmm. Not to mention it shows my icons when I upload them! XDDD

Date: 2007-11-20 06:08 am (UTC)Raichu's speed is pretty good but its defense is so absurdly low that it's hard to use. At least it's versatile enough that you can try raising it for attack instead of special attack. I've ran into a mean one with Iron Tail and Brick Break.
As for Ampharos, it will never have speed. You'll have to somehow make it a tank, an annoyer (Thunder Wave), or support (Heal Bell from Gale of Darkness).
But yes... we have much to plot. Talk to you soon, I hope. :3

Date: 2007-11-21 06:07 am (UTC)I just rediscovered Dimitri the Cyndaquil, so I've been raising him lovingly like an echidna. :3 (He's a Quilava now). I made comparisons with Trapinches, so I found one that looked promising to raise. :o
Grr, electric Pokemon are plotting against me. *mutter* I'll find you out yet! Somehow!

Date: 2007-11-21 03:39 am (UTC)For your electric Pikachu, instead of focusing on its stats, look at its attacks. Even if you have a Pikachu/Raichu with average speed, you can begin with a Thunderbolt . . . and follow up with Shock Wave, TM34: an electric Sp. Attack that always strikes first (and I think you can buy it at Veilstone!).
And yes, I still have your Shiny Shaymin. :D It's been waiting for its new home with anticipation.
btw, did you ever finish that icon meme from er, last year was it? I'm waiiiting. ;) I count on you to make me great icons ('cause I can't haha)
