Wow, [livejournal.com profile] clockwork_rp is really growing! :333 And I got accepted and I made Paula's journal. <3333 I uploaded all her icons, but will work on other stuff tomorrow, considering it's VERY late. XDDDD;;;

Rock-A-Doodle is one of the best movies ever made. I'm surprised I made so many icons after watching! :o DAMN YOU CHANTICLEER FOR KEEPING ME UP WAY PAST MY BEDTIME.

Thus no work on NaNo today but done plenty of creative stuff otherwise. lawlz.

Now for the obligatory I'm-Going-To-Hell icon. *giggle*

Oh man. Did you say Rock-A-Doodle? I ADORE that movie. Over the summer, I watched it for the first time since my childhood. So many memories. ♥ (...Icons? 8D)

Yes I did! I saw it once with Mom when I was very little, and it's always been in my head since. After finding kickass Chanticleer art (AND reading The Nun-Priest's Tale of Canterbury Tales in class), I heard it was uploaded on YouTube and I had to find it again. I just... fell in love. *________________* Baloo! Mandark! Audrey! (Little Shop of Horrors) IN THE SAME MOVIE OMG. And that's one of the billion bonuses of this movie man. :o Plus you blind enemies with cameras. What's not to love?

Yep! They're gankable with credit too~ ♥

Rock-a-Doodle is bloody amazing. It's one of the things that could make a kid hate classical music, but still, Don Bluth knows how to make quality films.

Isn't it? *_______* Now I'm reminded of the scene where the Duke is playing on the organ. XD It's been a long time since Bluth made a film since Titan: A.E.. Is he still making movies?

You mentioned Rock-A-Doodle and totally gave me an excuse to run around and see if I can make icons of them which will never be shown to anyone ever. You know that right? XDDDD

Gawd I loved that movie. And it's OBVIOUSLY not Chanticleer's fault for you being awake at an ungodly hour. It's Uncle Duke-y's.-bricked-

(I need an icon of the Duke's nephew now. He was the best villain ever. ....next to Goob, Ursula, Hades, and Audrey Two.)

*squeal* That movie needs more love. I FEEL SO FLATTERED

Hm, you're right! That could be why I was so awake this morning and never fell asleep in class today--Chanticleer sang in my heart! ♥♥♥♥♥

(Oh Hutch~! XD ANNIALATION And FUCK YES I LOVE AUDREY II AND HADES. Aw man Ursula, I'll have to look for an Mp3 of Poor Unfortunate Souls. I ♥ that song. (Rule about Disney Movies: The villain songs are ALWAYS the best) Haven't heard of Goob though. Is he from Meet the Robinsons? :o)

PEEPERS! -squeal-

(I have an MP3!! I can give it to you! :D We can cackle together! (andomgawdyesDisneyvillainsingingiscrackinsongform) Goob's from Meet The Robinsons. He. Is. Adorable. Painfully so. He's like....the cutest villain of all time. You cannot watch that movie without wanting to hug him. For serious.)

All I remember about Rock-A-Doodle was that it terrified me when I was younger. xD But then again, the most unusual things scared me . . . I'd be fine watching those Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th movies, but I'd always have nightmares over Eureka's Castle, The Elm-Chanted Forest, the Hannah-Barbara spinning star logo, the losing horns on The Price is Right . . .

When I saw that movie as a kid, I remember crying when Edmund got strangled at the end. XDD I don't think it was NEARLY as scary as Bluth's other stuff though. (Dude, in Secret of NIMH, not only was blood drawn, but Jenner got offed by a dying cohort chucking a knife at his back!)

It's kinda interesting what scares me really. I adored Jurassic Park at 8 (I don't think I was supposed to be watching it yet! XDDD), The Brave Little Toaster didn't faze me at all (and people say it scared them/made them cry. I didn't. XDDD;;;) and I worked backstage as a little girl for Sweeney Todd (Best. Childhood Experience. EVER. *__________________*). Not a single nightmare. But I get squicked by the littlest things--like say, when someone stabs through their hand with a dagger, I cringe. Attacks on feet/hands = DO NOT WANT.

I have no idea with me. I always tell people I'm a wuss when it comes to horror movies (I hate slasher/snuff films and can't stomach them), but there's violent stuff I'm perfectly okay with. I adored 300 and Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow (cheered even) and am okay watching Saving Private Ryan without getting queasy, but sitting through something grisly/grim as say... Pan's Labyrinth makes me uncomfortable. D:

Hell, someone snorting full crystals of cocaine up their nose makes me wince more than someone getting rammed through with a sword. XDD!

I remember Secret of NIMH. That gave me nightmares for weeks. @@

The old PBS, DIC, Touchstone Pictures and Turner Broadcasting logos scared me as well.

The nightmares I'd get from what scared me would usually consist of me being forced by my parents to watch them, and then when it came on the TV I'd start screaming and find myself banging my head against the floor and it would suck me up.

I love The Brave Little Toaster; it was one of my favorite movies as a child. (I've always loved Blankie, but is that character male or female? I thought it was a female as a little kid, but now that I'm thinking about, I think it's male. xD )

I can watch a horror movie perfectly fine without being scared, because I always have the thought in the back of my mind that everything is fake and the actors aren't really bleeding and such. Violent stuff I'm fine with for the same reasons.

I do cry at sad scenes though, such as the end of United 93 (one of those 9/11 movies). Heck, I even cried at the end of SMRPG because I grew so attached to Geno. ;_;
