Guuuuuh. Tired. On the plus side, today didn't suck like I thought I would. Walked over to a gaming party, awed some folks with karaoke, played Puzzle Street Fighter II with folks (5 straight wins until a guy smashed the hell outta me. DDD: ), short round of Guitar Hero and DDR, and I got myself a coffee mug and... a gift card. Wheeeeeeeeee.

I'm getting worried about Giygas. He's got this fungus-like whitish zit above his eye and I'm worried he's getting sick. I don't want him to turn into a repeat of one of Dad's diseased alien fetus goldfish, so I'll have to figure out what he's got so I can get medicine before it gets worse. For now, I'll just prepare water so I can clean his bowl again. After some study online, he might have "Ick" aka a parasite sucking away at him until he dies. So I went to Burger King for dinner and free salt samples so I could sprinkle some in his bowl. I hope he'll be okay and I'm not poisoning him. :( He still seems energetic but still. I've grown close to the little guy and I didn't expect to do so with fish. :o

Worked more on my journal layout. The only thing left is I want to add OTP banners under my links. Except I don't know how. Fuck.

Omg. :O Super Puzzle Fighter is my favorite puzzle game of all time. I have it on Sega Saturn, my friends and I play it to death. It's sooo addicting. :D Love it. <3

Hope all goes well with your goldfish. Sorry I don't have any advice to offer, but I haven't owned any fish since I was a child. :/

Er, dun use table salt again though, it actually does have some additives that can hurt fish. You'd wanna get some actual aquarium salt which doesn't have that stuff.

Also, you say he's in a bowl... Is it big enough to put a heater in? Temps over 80 degrees will keep stuff like ick from growing. You might also wanna pick up this stuff called 'Pimafix', a natural anti-fungal remedy.

Oh, and it wouldn't hurt to get him some live food, or frozen stuff like bloodworms or brine shrimp, if ya don't already. A variety of food makes em healthier just like anything else :D

Sucks when they're sick though. My Gabriel has a swim bladder disorder, seems to be permanent. It tends to be a genetic thing, and at least it doesn't cause him pain- just makes it hard to swim.

Was gonna give you some advice, but ivynajspyder said everything I could have thought of at the moment (which truthfully isn't much as I'm too drugged to think straight :3). Cept for the swim bladder thing, which is out of my league; I totally know nothing of that. Don't even have a fish anymore, because the cat ate him. (;0;)

Poor Admiral.

Here's hoping Giygas gets better soon; you'd be surprised how much a fish can grow on you. o.o Though they often are mean little suckers.
