here_inmyheadI have not been good lately. Been pretty groggy, as a matter of fact. Until I had dinner.
Finally started playing Earthbound 0 again, and it's beginning to get really frustrating. Nono, I'm not dying all the time--I just PWN'd Starman Jr. at the Zoo, as a matter of fact. (And I got the Franklin Badge from Pippi. Score! :DD) It's that I keep effing getting lost. It's super tiring running around in circles like this. The encounter rates don't make things better either--I thought all the goddamn Zubats in the Pokémon caves were horrible, than there's EB0, where as soon as you finish a battle, you immediately start another one. Move one step. RANDOM ENCOUNTER! Two steps. RANDOM ENCOUNTER! Turn left. RANDOM ENCOUNTER! Walk out of town. RANDOM ENCOUNTER! Don't move. RANDOM ENCOUNTER! (I'm not kidding about this) Scratch your head. RANDOM-- you get the idea. Thank GOD the random battles disappeared in Mother 2.
Now I have to give the baby chick back to its mother. Talked to all the Chocobo look-a-likes and got nothing. So I see a Chocobo outside the walls, and decided that she must be the one. I tried going through the trees. No luck. So I figured my best bet was walking around the river and getting to the other side. 25 minutes of wandering, no gap or bridge whatsoever, both north and south. The river is as long as the fucking NILE. I crashed and saved my game at the Healer's house, unable to take it anymore.
Did I mention I had to consult a map from Starmen just to find my friggin' house? God, makes me wonder if Ninten's passed out already. I just wanna find Loid and Ana. DDDDDDDD:
