Aug. 13th, 2004 10:10 amWell, the bad news was that my CD ended up failing completely, but it was better than listening and figuring out one of the songs doesn't work. But the better news is that I made two new CDs after: one is my Teenage Wangst stuff with mostly Linkin Park music, while the other was more relaxing and made you wanna spread your imagination kinda, with tracks such Ian Vahn Dahl's "Castles in the Sky", Nightwish's "Dead Boy's Poem", Sonic's "Theme of Tikal", the ending theme of "Outlaw Star" ("Hiru no Tsuki"), two versions of "Moon" from an Anime' I don't know of but Yoko Kanno composed, and OC remixes such as "Rainbow Snowland", (Mario Kart 64) Lullaby, (Yoshi's Island), Waltz of Death, (Super Mario RPG) and "Lesser Kerubic Patchwork" (Chrono Trigger). *_*
I managed to get to the Meteor Shower before 9:00, which made me happy. ^^ While running around back in time trying to buy flowers for the shrine and finding fossils to send and help pay my final loan, my character got heavily baked (orangish-brown level) and for a long time was running around like I was on fire. XDD Then I stopped and thought of the shrine, when a very fangirly thought occurred to me: "Hey... this would make a nice Geno cosplay. XDDD" My skin's a bit dark, but it'll work. XD Thus, I was motivated to carry around my Nintendo Parasol instead of being all suicidal and running around waiting for the sun to fry me completely. XD
And Meteor Shower was magical. *_* There were probably more shooting stars if I came at an earlier time, but oh well. XD (Apparently, I spent much of my time playing MK:DD then was all "Oh shit!" when I realized it was 8:00. XDDD) I carried my bluebell fan and Nintendo Parasol with me, and managed to meet up with Tortimer, Limberg, (who was being all grouchy-old-man cute, aww. ^^) Bob, (wearing the mint gingham I gave him recently. ^^) Peanut, and Poncho, the later two wearing their Geno shirts like me. ^^ Of course, Poncho had to be there, considering he's the only one in town who spouts "IHAVEFURY!" on the top of his lungs. XDDD And Peanut was next to Bob uttering "pika", a catchphrase that had become popular since I taught it to Olive. ^^ I paid a short visit to the Toadette mini-shrine and an even longer visit to the Geno shrine, where I stood before the sign post and tree humming "Goodbye Geno/Seeing Dreams Through the Window of the Stars" before I left and made some kinda little tribute on the bulletin board being all "Farewell... Star Guardian" and taking advantage of the "Star" key on the AC Emote Keyboard. XDDD I'm... a sap. Yeah. XDDD
I heavily reorganized my house, so it looks a lot neater and I have a lot more room, which makes me happy. ^^ I also played a Game of Horror that someone dug while I was time-travelling, wondering if I could find something to make fun of while playing it. Unfortunately, "DK Jr. MATH" offered nothing of the sort, and I eventually quit playing the game screaming of excruciating boredom and demanding self to sell it to Tom Nook tomorrow. XD Tomorrow, my trophy's gonna be hung in front of the train station... what an award for finishing my shrines indeed. ^_^
Well, I probably won't be able to get online the next couple of days, considering the move and Hurricane Charlie. What a funky way to leave really; we go to Texas, Florida gets hurricaned. XD
Yay, Wisconsin! ^^ I have relatives who live in Oconomowoc… and I must say, as much as I hate football, there’s something special about the Greenbay Packers. XDD Is it the cheese, maybe? The gold and green? Or the fact they’re the only football team I actually care for? XDD
Wow, it's always the creative journals on these things, hm? XD I wonder if they're trying to tell me something.
Cool, I'm my journal's own cabin girl! XDDD Ooh, gems to make the Hope Diamond jealous? Hee, sounds like they're even more cursed too. XD
Phil! XDDD Of course, he wouldn't want to have sex with anyone, so that wouldn't matter. XDD Whew.
Edit: Oh my God, it's Friday the 13th! XDDD I never realized, hehe. XDD

You Know You're From Wisconsin When... |
You can taste a difference in cheese made somewhere else You own at least one tie with a or peice of jewelry with a Green Bay Packer theme You can find and pronounce : Eau Claire, Oconomowoc, Menomonee Falls, Waukesha, and La Crosse, Fond du Lac. You can correctly spell Milwaukee. You know what "bubbler" means. At least one of your family members works / worked in a cheese factory. A holstein cow outside of Wisconsin makes you miss home. You can taste the difference between apples grown up north and the ones that you can buy in the south. When talking about the Green Bay Packers you refer to them as "we". When the weather hits 0 degrees you decide that maybe it's time to get out a jacket instead of a sweatshirt. The family gets together every week for fish fry at the local pub. You know what a brat is, and they're at every outdoor event that your family has ever had. You know how to make a very good sled out of normal household items. Your love you outdoor pool because of how it doubles as an ice skating area during the winter. You can tell the difference between the smell of cow manure and pig manure. You have watched Fargo and not noticed an accent. You drive around with the air conditioning on until it hits 30 degrees, because it just was so darn hot outside. The local paper needs 6 pages to cover the Packers... in July! Your best shirt has a big letter G on it. You've said "Of course they'll win. They're God's team." You think it's nice enough to swim when the temperature hits 50. You family owns a "winter car" while the "good one" sits in the garage from Nov-Apr. Your put ketchup on a charcoal grilled NY strip steak. You live in a house that has no front steps, yet the door is one yard above the ground. You think everyone from south of Madison has an accent. You can identify a Michigan accent. Down South to you means Chicago. Traveling coast to coast means going from Superior to Milwaukee. You can make sense out of the words "upnort" and "Trivers". You have to go to Florida to get a tan in August. You consider Madison exotic. You can visit Luxemburg, Holland, Belgium, Denmark, Berlin, New London & Poland all in one afternoon. You can recognize someone from Illinois from their driving. You buy cat litter every winter, but you don't own a cat. At least twice a year, the kitchen doubles as a meat processing plant or cannery. You know what to do with a Blatz. You don't have a coughing fit from one sip of Pabst Blue Ribbon. Bucky the Badger hangs on your Christmas tree even if you didn't go to University of Wisconsinm Madison. You're a member of the Polar Bear Club and proud of it. You can use the word "ya der hey" easily in a sentence You hear someone use the words "uff-dah" and you don't immediately break into uncontrollable laughter. Your whole family wears green and gold to church on Sunday. Your idea of creative landscaping is a statue of a cow next to your blue spruce. You know how to polka You own a cheesehead You have cow pharaphenilia around your house, including your pajama pants You know what a FIB is and can spot them a mile away. You think of the major four food groups as cheese, beer, brats and Jell-O salad with marshmallows. FFA was the most popular club in high school You have eaten a cow pie at the State Fair. There was at least one kid in your class who had to help milk cows in the morning Country Kitchen is the place to meet after the party You have ever seen or played in a "broom ball" game. You have ever partied at Summerfest, Festa Italiana, German Fest, Irish Fest, Oktoberfest, or all of the above. You or someone you know was a "Dairy Princess" at a county fair. You can't be friends with a Vikings fan Your idea of diversity is having black, white, and brown cows. You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends from Wisconsin. |

Date: 2004-08-13 07:25 am (UTC)I missed the shower, but went back in time to it XD I'm so NAUGHTY! Limberg took Bea to it, but claimed she dragged him along, all the while rambling about Winnie, who seems to have picked up his catchphrase. Bea was speaking in third person or something XD
"Bea has the best viewing spot! Bea'd better move so the rest of us get a chance"
I swear, it's the wierdest thing I've ever seen XD
