Anyone is welcome to join in, even if you and I don't usually agree on pairings or hang out in the same circles. I'd like that, actually, to get a bit of variety going. Please don't feel shy or unwanted around here. ♥

Wish Upon A Star by Basil-Ovelby (Super Mario RPG) (Geno/Mallow) (G) It's Geno/Mallow, what are the odds? *_____* It's fluffy, IC, and precious, just how I like it~ ♥

Need by Zarla (Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga) (Peasley/Luigi) (PG) Of course, Zar wins the entire Internet. ;D If her adorable art doesn't win you over, this will~ ♥

Lean On Me by MissXeli (SEGASonic) (Implied Sonic/Shadow) (PG-13) I'm sad this'll never be finished. D: Still, I really like the characterization in this, and it's an interesting idea. :)

The Last Day Alive by A. Fleury (SatAM) (Sonic/Sally) (NC-17) No lemon has EVER brought me close to crying as this one has. Make sure the kids are gone, and grab a Kleenix box.

2. Silk Shackle by JadeDixon (Chrono Trigger) (Schala) (PG) I've always liked Schala. So finding this was a real treat--it's the best piece I've ever read about her, and explores her character with a poignancy that's just waaaaah. *_____*

I Cry Rivers by ImagenAshyun (Star Fox) (Peppy Hare) (PG-13) What happened to Peppy and James at Venom is a topic poked a lot in Starfoxdom, but this definitely hits the nail on the head for me. The mastery of 1st-Person just gets to me too, like I really am sitting in Peppy's lap listening to his story.

The Legacy of Meta Knight by The Great NeoDragon (Hoshi no Kirby) (Meta Knight) (PG-13) To recommend the Great Neodragon will also mean recommending Shades of Grey (PG-13) and Crimson Rain (R). But since more people are familiar with the games and that CR fits in with LoMK, best to pick this one first. Basically everything I love about Meta Knight in a nutshell. :33

Bedtime story by ScottyCF (SEGASonic) (Shadow & Maria) (G) Shadow's an adorable baby hedgehog, and Maria reads him "Stone Soup"--while between ingredients, he runs and cooks some himself. Cue Puri dying of unsaturated cute and fluff.

Consciousness by Giampi (Earthbound/Mother 2) (Flying Man) (PG) Magicant is my favorite part in the game, and I adore the Flying Man to DEATH. So seeing this delightful piece that explores him like that makes me wibble in happiness.

Since I have so many favourite fics under my belt, I've tried not to repeat myself at all, though sometimes fics have fitted into more than one category.

i) (Sonic the Hedgehog) - Home is Where Our Journies End (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2872867/1/) - because while I dearly love Sally/Sonic, other universes with teir love interests are just as valid in their own way.
ii) (Teen Titans cartoon) - The Needs of the Many (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2927044/1/) - because I never realised I liked Speedy/Bumblebee as much as I apparently do until this girl got hold of my synapses.
iii) (YGO) - As Is: Whatever Way It Happens (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2226857/1/) - because I'd never considered Seto/Anzu until I found this fic, and it just completewly *sold* me on them without completely sacrificing the Anzu/Yuugi I was used to.
iv) (Danny Phantom) - Ordinary World (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2553592/1/) - because I'd been partial to a bit of Danny/Sam since that episode with Ember, but this was so subtly written (it's not even a proper romance, but slides their relationship in around the sides to cushion the main plot) it left a lot up to my imagination without me just making stuff up to pretend it was there.
v) (Kim Possible) - An Unacceptable Sitch (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1648203/1/) - because, again, I fell for Kim/Shego *specifically because* of this fic.

ii) (DragonBall Z) - KiBlind (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/745618/1/) - because I love the entire freaking cast of this show, and this fic spotlights every. Single. One of them.
iii) (Darkwing Duck) - First Day Family (http://yuletidetreasure.org/archive/17/firstday.html) - Drake/DW and Gosalyn as pure luff. The first family unit on television I could really buy into given a new lease of life on my computer screen - YAYZ!
iv) (Naruto) - Walking Corpse (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2166001/1/Walking_Corpse) - Ohmyfuckinggodandallhislittleangelsandseraphimswiththeirshinybottoms! I just ... love this fic so much. Like the DBZ one, this spotlights the entire cast in ways I just LOVE. SO MUCH.
v) (One Piece) - Infection (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2392077/1/) - There's probably some irony that Sanji's my favourite character and he spends most of this fic in a coma, but ... hot dayum, he and Zoro shine here in a not-slashy way that's still so powerful it leaps off the screen and crawls down your throat.
