Apparently, a kindergartener got suspended for bringing a plastic knife to school so he could help cut out cookies for class.

I don't know about you, but I think the No Tolerance rule is gonna increase crime than the other way around. Since, you know, this teaches little kids you can kill or mutilate someone using only a paper clip or something.

What's next? We can't bring our own pencils or pens to school because teachers are worried we might stab kids with them?

See, the reasoning behind this is that the government is secretly trying to enforce the spork as one and only omnitool in school cafeterias. They're outscouring plastic knives, and soon plastic forks and those little packages of ketchup will be next!

Seriously, I don't get people sometimes. I can understand schools being worried about safety and insurance, especially due to some overzealous parents who are quick to cry "lawsuit!", but this is getting ridiculous! At least let us play dodgeball again, schools. Sheesh.
