This week on Sonicdom Tabloids: New Racoon Causes Wank!

You know something? Everytime Sonicdom complains about new characters, I roll my eyes and yawn. Don't they get sick fighting about the same goddamn thing over and over again? But yeah. SEGA's been adding new characters since their first game on the Genesis. TOUGH PATOOTIE.

I don't get the whole Cream ripoff thing either. When I first saw her, Cream didn't come to my head until people whined about it. 'Cause yeah, small character + big baby eyes + cute exterior + big smile = Cream. ZOMG DUZ DAT MEAN CHARMY COPIED CREAM!?!111/! (Yes, I know Charmy was created first. I'm just using an example) People already assume she's Blaze's new buddy. Jumping to conclusions much? She could be a thief for all I care. Also, we don't know a THING about the racoon's personality. Remember the last several years where Blaze and Silver were written as Shadow ripoffs before their release? OH HO HO HO were they ever wrong. (Especially on Silver!) Complain about something new to SEGA plz.

Finally, the fangirls and BNFs who claim SEGA "stolen" their precious recolors and plan to sue. "OMG SHEZ A RACCOON. SO IS MINE. I'VE BEEN PLAGERIZED!111" "ZOMG MY CHARRIES BROWN AND SO'S SHE I HATE YOU SEGA YOU COPIED MEEEEEE". Um, STFU?

I only have one Sonic character and he's a computer. :P When I entered levels like Mad Matrix in ShtH, did you see ME waving my arms in fury because "ZOMG THEYRE USING COMPUTERZ THEY RIPPED OFF P.A.N.D.O.R.A!!!11!11" Thought so.

Geez. I swear that Sonicdom is still stuck in the Middle Ages. And of course, still makes me reach for aspirin.

And then the saaaame argument comes up and it suddenly turns the topic into 17 pages of "WHY DEY MAKE NU CHARACTER" "SHE LOOKS LIKE BLAH BLAH BLAH" "I LIEK HER" "OMG Y SHE LAAAAME!" "DIS WHY I NO LIKE HER" "I GIVE HER CHANCE" and it's all very boring and repetitive because it's all based on a single piece of character art =/

Whaaaaat? That raccoon girl I saw fanart for when I was browing dA's top favorites the other day; she's actually an official character? o_o I had no idea! I didn't go in for a closer look, so I assumed she was another fan character. I wasn't expecting it, because the last few character additions (Blaze, Silver, Shadow) have been a little on the darker side, so seeing a cute little one with pigtails all of a sudden is now throwing me for a loop! XD

I can't believe people are passing such harsh judgement on her already! ;_; Does anyone even know her name yet? I feel really bad for her, and I know nothing about her yet!

Although... although I kinda hope she's not Blaze's sidekick like Cream was, 'cause I thought it was neat seeing Cream with Blaze like Tails with Sonic! However, I'd like to see her as a playable character :D And better still, give her Charmy as a lackey, and have the two-player co-op a la Sonic 2/3/etc! XD

I'm not a particularly involved StH fan, especially when it comes to SEGA!Sonic, so I'm unfamiliar with the furore that accompanies new characters. Is it bad?

Basically, SEGA tends to release a new character for the latest game. Sometimes exclusive--sometimes not. Basically fanbrats grow sharp fangs and complain about the Sonic series having too many characters. When it was big in the first place! XD (If you count Robotnik's Badniks such as Caterkiller and such. XDDD!)

Best to be on the outside. Only the brave dare to tread Sonicdom, especially SEGAverse. @.@;;;

You know the only similarity between Cream and the girl is? The fur thing around the eyes. That's like it. I honestly don't see any other comparisons. She looks outgoing and adventurous, someone who'd try to race against Sonic no matter what the odds are. She also looks a bit feisty, like a raccoon would.
