here_inmyheadMy sister: *long time ago, watching me play the Jap. language track of "Sonic Adventure 2 Battle* ...That voice is way too sexy for a hedgehog's. *_*
She's talking about Shadow, of course. XD
My sister: *Yesterday, after my brother beat Knuckles's story in "Sonic Adventure: DX" and the credits are rolling* ...What is that?
Me: Oh, that's "Sonic Adventure DX". -_-; I played that, and I don't like that game. It's really bad, and--
My sister: No, I mean, this song.
Me: Oh...
My sister: What did they do to "Sonic"? This is such CRAP.
How my brother can manage to play this game over and over is beyond me. XD As far as I'm concerned, these are the only few good things about the horrors (or shall I say, "boredom"?) of Depressing Times. Err, SADX:
#1: Amy doesn't suck as nearly much as she did in SA2B. That, and she's a playable character, so you know she gets to do some whackin' with that hammer of hers. :D
#2: Gamma, aka E-102r. I liked him, and was one of the few characters in this game I had fun playing as, (Blowing multiple things up, YAY! :DDD) was remotely interesting, and that I cared for. Of course, the game creators decided to kill off the best character in the game and have him blow up for no reason in his ending. And no, I do not care I just spoiled that.
#3: "I am Tikal--and you are?" For some reason, I really like that line. ^^ Tikal was pretty much the reason I kept stuggling to beat the game, mainly 'cause she makes the plot more interesting. That, and she and Gamma have the prettiest music in the entire game as their themes. XDDD
#4: It's easier to get more colors of Chao eggs in this game. Even Gold and Silver ones... man, the delights of raising my Geno, (silver, Neutral) Mallow, (white, Hero) and Bowser (black, would be Dark...) Chao. XDDD Maybe if there was some way of importing your SADX Chao to SA2B, that would be a delight. ^^ The gardens are SO much better, it's easier to get money for stuff, there's more to do in the gardens, (like Karate Chao and planting fruit trees. ^^) and there's stuff like Chao Kindergarden. XDD It's too bad it's hard to get good egg colors... *sigh* That, and I released my Chao so they wouldn't have to suffer from much waiting in SADX. XD
#5: It has its moments, usually when you play as Amy. Like the part where she was all "Oh my God, it says cute couples can enter in here!" when she and Sonic meet up with Twinkle Park to get away from Zero. (And no, I think Sonic/Amy needs to die a slow and painful death in a tar pit. XDDD)
#6: I liked the Casino area. That was fun, and I like playing those two pinball machines. ^^ And DUDE, when you play as Knuckles! You can go around flying across the entire place. *_* And apparently, you can shower in the showers as Sonic or Knuckles... how very funky. oO;;
#7: MST Quality. The only way to truly survive the game, 'nuff said. And no, it doesn't help to play the Jap. language track either: the voices are still wooden. XDDD
In other words, the moral of this story is: get SA2B instead. Now that is a good game. And there's Shadow, too. :D Well, my brother plans to get "Sonic Heroes" for his birthday--Gamma and Shadow's back, hee! ^__^
Tried to chase after Grizzly in my sister's AC town. Unfortunately, it looks like I wiped her AC file after all. Damn. :(
Saw "Spiderman 2": much more on character devolopment then last one. Spidey was really cute, and it was touching when the people on the train found him without his mask on and realized he was this normal guy. :) Aunt May absolutely owned in one part. XD And wow, Doc Oct! I swear, WOW. *_* He was the most awesome thing... and his arms! I love his arms. *___* So shiny and roboty... and they look SO ALIVE. I thought they were gonna snap and bite people's (or Doc's) heads off. XDD Like what my Dad said, "the raptors from 'Jurassic Park'." XDDD I await the next movie... who knows, maybe one of these days, Venom might appear in one. :D
I have fast Internet access again. Hee! ^^

You've reminded me, I need to beat SA2B again, because that file was corrupted too >.< I need a new memory card or something.

Date: 2004-07-15 08:17 am (UTC)Yay, funky flashback stuff! I liked Tikal too, though I agree with you on SA2B. It seemed pretty weird she was there in VS. mode, and her battle cries ("I BEG of you!") get really obnoxious. XD One factor I liked though: "I'm sorry... ^^" WHAM!
My brother's birthday is tommorow, so chances are, he and I would be busy with "Sonic Heroes" soon. Hee. ^^
