The Misadventures of Sonic Battle!

here_inmyhead"Sonic Battle"? Is hard. .___________.;;;;
I'm getting used to playing as Sonic. But Emerl? Is a clunky nightmare. *cries* I unlocked Gamma though, so Puri's perky. ^-^ (I FINALLY have more use for his Battle Sprite icon! *________________*) I fiddled around in Battle Mode a bit, cooking up teams only Puri would glee in. Shadow vs. Amy vs. Cream vs. Gamma! W00t! (Somewhere, Gamma proceeds to kick everyone's asses. Puri just barely wins as Shadowalmost everytime) Team Time! Shadow & Cream vs. Sonic & Tails! C'mon, you always wanted Shadow & Cream to team up. *crickets chirp* Next up, only two of Puri's OTPs... Sonic & Shadow vs. Amy & Gamma! Somehow, Knuckles & Rouge flown completely over her head... bad self! No wait, I have my excuses! *dodges bullets!* I was mad at Knuckles for cleaning my clock in the mountains, and I'm raising my eyebrow over Rouge calling me "Sugah". oO;;; That's Bunnie's job, dagnabbit. D: I should give it a go controlling Gamma next time I play...
I'm better at playing Sonic than Shadow too. XDDDD! Not to mention Sonic's got the best voice the whole game--everyone else sounds obnoxious. Except Gamma. His was awesome. Then again, Gamma's awesome in general. XDDD! I love Sonic's little chirps during battle: "Time to party!" "What!?" "Sweet!" Daaaw. :3 Shadow makes me sporfle 'cause he sounds like a Vegeta ripoff. ("I'll show you me Ultimate Power!" You have to listen to understand. XDD!) Tails needs to be shot dead, which shouldn't happen. D: But then again, Tails always had the worst obnoxious dub voices. Knuckles sounds too much like a dumb brute. D:D:D: ;___________; Cream's tolerable, so long as she doesn't get TOO squeaky. @.@;; Amy was too, until "You guys are such LOO-Zers!" Owowow. *cringe* Then again, I suppose it's her character, but... *WINCE* Rouge, I don't really have an opinion on. I'm just more used to her having a deeper, more casual voice like in the Jap version. ^^;;; Here, she sounds all lady-like and... it's weird. XDDD!
Sonic in "Sonic Battle" so far is creepingly reminding me how I write him in fanfiction too. So... *crossing fingers and shakes to the heavens, Animé tears dabbling from her eyes* I MUST BE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT!!1!!11 T____________________T Even the voice how I hear him when I write, it's just uncanny. oO;;; Could be just me making a hasty revelation about something, though. It's still too early in the game. XDDD!
Man, it's refreshing to play a different "Sonic" game! Which makes me a sad, sad person 'cause I'm spending all my offline time playing "Banjo Kazooie" and "Final Fantasy V", and I just start "Sonic Battle" today... and guess what I'm spazzing about. XDDDDD! God, I might even buckle down and get the "Sonic Advance"s, I'm that sad a soul with money to spend. (Watch me raise an entire Chao Empire! AH HA HA HA HAAAA~~~!) I need something casual and light-hearted to play. T-TEven though I need to save my money for Wii and already spent some of it on games and CDs already Oh, and reserving the Blue version of Pokémon Rangers. That too.

Date: 2006-07-30 06:43 am (UTC)Tails...hm, he didn't bother me that much, and his "Soooonic..." sounds cute to me, but I preferred his SA1/SA2 voice, though none of his dub voices have been spot-on so far IMO.
Knuckles is a liiiittle dumb in the game sometimes, but his short temper is absolutely hilarious in the story mode. Sonic loves ticking him off, teehee. : D
I like Shadow's voice, but yeah, he sounds a little obnoxious sometimes. His soft little evil laugh is awesome, though. *__* "Hrmheheheh." xDD As is his annoyed grunt.
Amy kicks ass in Sonic Battle. It really took me off-guard. She showed her stuff in SA1, yes, but in SA2 she didn't do much, and in Heroes she wasn't anywhere near as outrageously KICKASS as she is in Sonic Battle. O___O Scary pink girl.
Cream's voice is fine. She's so cute. ;_; And Rouge always says that when she greets people. Even when it's, like, Eggman. Or Amy. It had me lmao'ing several times. XDD
And like I said, there's some cute Sonadow in the game. Well...not as obvious as, say, Space Gadget in ShtH, but STILL. I love the interaction between those two. ;_;
...Forgive my ranting. :o I really like this game, as you can tell. I even picked it up and started playing again today. XDD

On the bright side, in just plain battle mode, there's something awesome about beating the everloving snot out of Sonic, Shadow, and Knuckles at the same time with Amy. I would die if a battle like that ended with the Amy Rose equivalent of "Now get in the kitchen and make me some pie, bitches!" And they would, for she has instilled the fear of mallet into them.
