WHY OH WHY isn't this house soundproof?

here_inmyheadMom can't sleep for 8--now definitely 9--days. So she decides, "Oh, if I can't sleep, MY DAUGHTER WON'T EITHER."
So sometime late in this hour, I've been woken up, I'm twisting and turning all over the bed, because she won't shut up talking/ranting/wailing on the phone.
YES. I've gotten out of bed and told her to stop. Three to four TIMES. What does she do? Just speaks lower (then back to loud again) and deliberately ignores me. AND MAKES ANOTHER CALL.
So if you don't see me tomorrow? Until 11 or 12 or 1 or even later? Blame my fucking mom, who doesn't care WHO she hurts.
She never ever goes away. And I hate to say it, but I want her to. Why should I be forced to listen to her babble about how terrible and horrible her life is and all her recent woes and miseries and injuries and make ME carry the weight? I swear to hell I want to MOVE. I don't care if I'm her daughter. I shouldn't have to hear it or put up with it ANY LONGER. I want nothing to do with her OR her tragedies. I want a future, I want a life without worry, AND SHE ISN'T LETTING ME.
I'm not self-destructing with you, so stop dragging me down when I want to go up.
