So, you know the "Iblis" guy from Next-Gen? Debbie and I chatted about him yesterday, and until his new name is released, we'll dub him "Sephiroth". For obvious reasons. XD Scribbled in some dairy of mine that if he had Shadow's chest floof, he dies. Like, PAINFULLY. Next day, look what happens. XDD;;;

Everyone can bash Seph as much as they want, I don't care. I don't like him either. I wouldn't mind to see Knux push him off a cliff and take his place, or Tails or Amy or... damn. Where the hell is Metal Sonic? He'd be perfect for Next-Gen. Like whoa. I prefer his Godly Shininess over Ice-Blue Fugly Chimera anyday. It's the "ZOMG SHADOW SUXX0RZ!!1!!1!11" that gets me. ("I wish Shadow would just slit his bloody wrists already. I really do..." Someone knows Shadow well. *rolls eyes*) And we aaaaaaaaaaaaaall pretty much know how Puri feels about that.

So--I'm staying completely outta the melodrama and holding back judgement until the game is out. 'Cause dear friggin' god. I'm sick of the whining. I'm sick of hearing ZOMG WERE ALL GONNA DIIIIIIIIE because of an effing video game which we've only heard about for what? 48 hours? Wow. 'Cause you know, if JournalFen had ever heard of Sonic fandom, Fandom Wank would never be bored. 'Cause gods, even I know better than to raise a humongoid stink about Seph.

I'm gonna have to admit this: I'm not too hot on the game. Mostly because it feels like Yuji Naka and his posse were smoking rolled up issues of the Archie Comics when they were coming up with some elements of it. =/

I do have to admit the sudden hate for Shadow is a little upsetting. I understood most of the fans never exactly liked him, but damn! But then again, most of the people in a certain Sonic LJ community just smacks of elitist mooks. XP It's that kinda attitude which makes me care less and less for the classics and more for stuff like 'Sonic Heroes' and 'Shadow the Hedgehog'. (And I'm serious too)

I think what bothers me about "Seph" is that he REEKS of unoriginal fan character. I'm beginning to think that Sonic Team (or at least, the main character designer) went to the Tetsuya Nomura school of unoriginality now. Maybe he won't be so bad once we know his role in the story, but ehhhh...

*hugs* Believe me, I know how snappy fans can be sometimes. You're talking to someone who's had to defend Lucy Liberty and Miss Killer from F-Zero fans who suddenly became canon*nazis after GP Legend was out. (I'll admit, I'm somewhat of a canon*nazi for F-Zero, but there IS a difference between being decent about it and being an ass) =/

Fandom sucks sometimes, eh? C'mon, I've got room for another person in my fandom hermit home up in the mountain. We'll hang out there for a while until this all blows over. =]

Oo; There is no drama until people say there's drama. So er... no need to make a drama of the drama? Oo x.x; =O Personally I dun see what the big deal is. ; Am more concerned about the focus being taken once again, away from Sonic. x.x But this guy doesn't look too bad, well, a bit weird but... So long as he has a purpose? Or something.

They know of Sonic fandom, it just doesn't get mentioned a lot. I remember seeing a fandom wank thing on Cosmo a long time ago.

Then again, that's probably not what you meant. ^^;;;
