You know it's true...
Got stuck in a stupid place on "Sonic Rush" (other than trying to get the 7th Emerald, of course), and when I tried GameFAQs, all I got was being grazed by slight spoilers. Fuckity. Totally didn't need that. So I continued M&L2 instead, until it seemed like my DS needed recharging again... right before a boss fight, I think. Arghg. I swear, when it comes to time-travel/continuity, "Mario" is the most screwed up series ever. I think I'll have to seperate the RPGs as five different canons or something... well, maybe not, but trying to squish 'em all at once is a tad bit complicated. XDDD;;; Curse you, Baby Mario & Luigi!
I played the beginning of the game around Christmas, but didn't type about it 'cause I think I was sick or something. XDDD;;; But yeah. So far, not as funny as M&L: SS, but definitely darker. The Toads getting their energy sucked (What the heck is "vim"? Toad blood or something?) from the trees creeped me out a little, for a "Mario" game. @.@ E.Gadd's got a pretty good role though, so that cheers me up. :) Maybe for once, this game'll get me to find Toadsworth endearing, but so far, I still don't like him and want to smack him (and his younger self) around, telling him to keep quiet and stay outta the way. XDDD;;; It's amusing watching Present*Toadsworth chasing Past*Toadsworth, though--the worst they have to fear are themselves! XDDD
Pretty funny listening to Mario spaz "BABIES!" too--it's one of those things you have to hear for yourselves to understand. X33 The babies themselves aren't that bad either--good thing, I couldn't stand them from the previous games. XDDD;;; (Hence, I was a tad skeptical when I first heard of the game) Baby*Peach = ADORABLE, by the way. Haven't seen her do anything yet, though. Hopefully it'll be something other than get kidnapped, though. XDD;;; Though I don't trust it... Peach was a bummer in M&L, you could only really expect her to be strong in SMRPG & the PMs. XDD;;; When Baby Peach cries, though... UGH. Completely different story from "cute". *shudder* SHUTHERUPOMG. (No kidding about this: she was worse than the Baby Bros. combined) Couldn't stand it. Even the other characters wanted her quiet, and Toadsworth was all, "Do what she wants, in order to get her to stoooooop! T_______T" Ooh look, Kamek. :)
Prince Bowser deserves his own paragraph, like seriously. I absolutely ADORE him. He's such a darling little brat, it's perfect! X3333 He's my definite favorite character by far, like miles. Can't wait 'till I get to the part where he & King Bowser interact! X3333 (You know, so far this game sounds better as an AU-Meets-Canonverse than Time-Travel, or something like that. XDDD;;;)
*pauses journal entry to go to the Vim Factory*
Apparently, the l33t Hammer Bros. teach you how to use the hammer. Nice. XDD Then the Toadsworths teach you how to spin... hehe. /tuckered out. Lords, it's not my fault I dunwanna fight all the monster there. I wanted to fight the boss already. :(
Can't wait to see Kylie and other guys. *nodnod*
Guuuh... gaming just left me more cooked than relieved of computerness. Still hope to show stuff tonight, though. Looked up to see if there was Spriter*Tricks I could learn from Sonic Spriters Network, but it was just learning about MS Paint which I never use, and bunches of stuff I knew already and Avatar*Crap I don't care about. :/ Maybe I learned all there is to know already? 'Cause I'd look over these tutorials and think to myself, "Oh yeah... Photoshop." XDDD;;;
I wanna start building on AC:WW too, but guh... I just find it hard getting myself into that game yet. It's like, I can't think of a decent town name at all, and it feels so gosh-darned weird. I want something pulled from my heart, not my ass, so I can tell you, "Yep, that's my town! :D" when you guys come to visit. Some place I can feel close to like I did for all these years in Xytiané & Inoria back from my Game Cube. Dude, those places were practically my unbreakable home back when my family did nothing but move place to place. Didn't want the DS to feel like some kinda snag or something. Maybe I'm just too frantic to pretty myself up and my town, maybe? 'Cause so far, it's like all anyone wants to do is trade villagers, get fruit & furniture and such anyway. XDDD;;; Maybe it's just... guh. I need a town name. And a theeeeeeeme~! Well... maybe the theme can wait, no one seems to care about that part. XDD;;;
I sound like a wet blanket, I know. But hey, I have plans! I know I have plans! T_T Turning my

Date: 2006-01-08 09:14 am (UTC)I have gathered that AC:WW is an animal crossing game, but... what exactly do you do in it? Do you build towns and visit people? @e;; *SO not in the know*

Date: 2006-01-08 04:57 pm (UTC)You're a villager in your own town, and you get to do a bunch of fun stuff like talking to villagers, making your own designs for T-Shirts (even constellations!), and as you keep paying Tom Nook for your house, you get to arrange furniture inside and such. To quote what I remember from most people, it's like "Harvest Moon" & "The Sims". In AC:WW, you have a Wi-Fi connection, meaning you could visit other people's towns via the Internet so you can exchange fruit, furniture and such and even have different villagers move into your town. ...*would so want to become a villager in your town* :o
