"What are the metal things on the sides of your glasses so they stay on your head?"
Dad, who uses a lense that allows him to see and read at the same time, didn't know. :/ (Eye pieces? Unless I've mistakened them for another part of glasses... Googling didn't help. XDD;;)
Apparently you have the left frame and the right frame, which hold the lenses. In between are the cushion arms and the bridge. On the sides are the temple hinges which are then attached to the temples.
