Must be nice, knowing what level of "Sonic" fandom hierarchy I fit under according to what characters I like and what games I play. All this is true about me, by the way:

I tell people I've played Classic*Sonic: "Oh cool, hello there!" "Hey, I remember playing these! :D"
I tell people I've played SA/SA2/SH/Beyond: "Eh, the older games were better." "Huh? Haven't heard of those." (I get this response most IRL) "Ugh, they SUCK."
I tell people I used to have four AoStH tapes and miss it, wanting to see it again for nostalgia: "OMG You liked that show!? DIE PAINFULLY." "Ohhh, that show? I remember that! I used to watch that... I didn't want to admit though, everyone hated it but me."
I tell people I like Chaotix/Gamma/Some lesser-talked about character: "...Cool. *ignored*" "Oh gosh, you too!? I like you! :DDD"
I tell people I like Knuckles/Tails/Sonic/Some more popular character: "Ooh, cool! :D I like him too!" "Awesome, isn't he? :D"
I tell people I like Shadow: "OMG I LIEK SHADOW HE'S MY BOIFRIEND HEZ SO COOOOOL ADN ANGSTY!!1" "Oh, you're a fangirl. Go crawl in a hole and die, we don't need more of your ilk around."
I tell people I like Knuxouge/Vecpio/Gammy/Sonainbow Monkey: "That's cool! :D" "...Okay! XDD" (Latter response for funkier/crack ships)
I tell people I like Sonadow: "OMG SONADOW Iz SOOOOO HAWT!!11" "Go to hell. Go away. Never come back. Now leave. You contaminate the fandom, you're at the bottom of the barrel, you're worse than everyone combined. Eww, don't get near me! I'll get scabies. You scare me."

Add to the fact I'm playing "Shadow the Hedgehog" and liking it. Run! Before I touch you and you breathe my germs! Hurry hurry!

Oi there... I'm not sure how I ended up here, but I found your post to be interesting, so I thought I might as well reply since I'm bored =D!

I just wanted to say that I can't believe somebody would think that Sonic Adventure, whether it was the first one or second, SUCK! I used to spend lots of time playing these games, not to forget the older games, where my brothers and I had to fight over the controller because the first Sonic game was a one-player game xD!

I never got to see any of the Sonics other than 1-3, S&K, and Sonic CD. :( I guess I could solve this by going out and finally buying a vg console. Change with the times lol. NO SNES DONT RUST AND DIE ON ME

For the record, that other Sonic show (you're referring to the one with Grounder and Scratch?) was dumb but enjoyable. It was my weekday morning ritual to watch it before going to school. What else can we expect of villains other than a bumbling stereotype? :)

And the game itself is fun. *nodnod* And I have the PS2 version, so I can play the game with Japanese voices. :3

Ebay's a good friend. XDD And it's easy for me to find SA2B (usually used) in random video game stores, and it comes pretty cheap. *nod* I'm hoping my NES hasn't crashed itself, it's been collecting dust because I didn't have anything to connect with. :( (That, and it might need to be fixed, based on this site where all you gotta do is push the wires back in place...)

Yep, "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog", with Grounder and Scratch. :D It's supposed to be dumb--it's not like the other "Sonic" cartoons, and it's designed to make you laugh. ;D

I love Shadow the Hedgehog. It's so much fun to play, and not just because it has so much Shadow in it though that plays a large part in it.

Yeah, I hate it when people automatically say, "The new games SUCK" whenever you ask them about SA1/SA2/Sonic Heroes/etc. I get that a lot. I'm also sometimes put down for being a "new-gen Sonic fan", since SA2 is the game that really got me addicted to Sonic (though I played Sonic 2 in the earlier years...=D).

I was tortured all Friday yesterday, 'cause I wanted to do nothing but play "Shadow"--that's how fun it is. *______* (And gosh, getting the endings are real addicting...)

And yep! I had early "Sonic" stuff too, and it wasn't until SA2B I remembered "Sonic" and became a fangirl. XDDD;;
