Bring out your dead! For we have an Mp3 post! :o

Nine Inch Nails - A Warm Place: A quiet instrumental, so anyone can enjoy it. Excuse the loud BLIP! at the beginning--that came off from the previous track of The Downward Spiral called "Big Man With a Gun". Basically, at this point, the guy goes EXTREMELY homicidal. And this is the aftermath what the place looked like after. Even before I bought the CD, I always thought the song had a creepy, depressed feeling to it... boosh. Everything's gone. Just like that. Be sure to grab some tissues.

Orgy - Fiction (Dreams in Digital): Ahh, my gateway drug to Orgy. *_____* Just like people use "Sailor Moon" and DBZ as their gateway drugs to watching Animé, Puri's been enthralled with this song for the longest time. If you're an AMV person, you've probably seen ten billion videos to the song, and must be utterly sick of it by now. But hey, of the many things that make me think of Orgy, this is one of the songs that come to mind first. Just... GUH. *____* This has some of my favorite lyrics in this. Remind me to make icons later... *DADADADA*

Julien-K - THIS MACHINE: More Orgy. :o Starring Amir Derakh and Ryan Shuck bring you this little masterpiece from "Sonic Heroes": probably ten billion people have this song already, but I'm linking it ANYWAY, 'cause I'm a fangirl. XDDD Must've squeed loudly and skipped about for hours when I first found out about Julien-k. 'Cause Orgy + Shadow = EEEEEEEEEEEE! Happy Puri Time~! Favorite Band + Favorite Character = Absolute bliss. HEAVEN. And Julien-K's coming back. With "Waking Up". Though Puri has plenty of reasons to go back and forth, back and forth between excitement and OMGABSOLUTEPARANOIA over... that game, Julien-K's one bit of news to relax Puri... a little bit. *sobs* OhgodIhateNovember. Somuchdread.

Haddaway - What is Love?: And that, kids, is the reason why you never see Puri surfing YTMND anymore. XDDD;;; 'Cause the real thing PWNs, man. And I can imagine all the little "Night at the Roxbury's" parodies that I want. XDDD;;;; 'Cause in case you missed it from EL's journal, here it is again. XDDD Be warned, though--this song will be LODGED in the back of your brain. And it can never come out. But not that it's a bad thing, right? Puri tends to like addictive songs. ;D

Hoobastank - Lucky: And now, for something completely fluffy! :DD Hey, I like Hoobastank. Kinda. I don't listen to them obsessively or anything like that, but I do have a few songs by them that make me squee. This is one of them. It's nice, it's simple, and overal makes you feel warm and fuzzy and good inside. It's also the perfect thing to play to make the Emo*Kids vomit, hehe. ;D

Evanescence - Anywhere: Yes, I know the Emo*Kids are gonna come back and grovel over this. Oh well. 'Cause this is one of the sweetest songs ever. T_____T If anyone had to challenge me to write Crappy Evanescence Songfic TM, with the addition of Harlequinish OOC Icky Romance, let it be this one. Except... no. Puri respects Evanescence. And the general public. So that's not gonna happen. XDDD;;; You can always dare, though. *STAKE'D!*

I'm getting thoughts of two chibified*characters of a favorite ship skipping across a meadow to fluffy music now... Don't. ASK.

Nobuo Uematsu - Final Fantasy V - Lenna's Theme: I've just... discovered this. oO;; It was buried in my Winamp list somewhere, and well... it's really pretty. T-T It's an orchestrated version of "Lenna's Theme" from FFV. A game which I've only played on the PSX version--which I'm fully aware has a crappy translation. :( And I was never able to beat the game 'cause I got stuck around the middle--I still liked the game, though. One of these days, when I get a laptop, I aughta download a nifty translation of the game so I can actually beat more than two FFs for once. XDD;;; (And hey--I liked the Jobs System. :3)

I got a perfect translation for FF5, but it doesn't have any pirate accent for Faris ._. Pirates are cool! :^D

FF5 is actually pretty hard near the end, especially the two optional bosses, Shinryuu and Omega. The last boss is also really tough if you're not prepared. Gameplay wise I liked it a lot, but the SNES quality music is ugh ._. Orchestrated versions are a different story :3

Also have you noticed that everybody nods way too much in that game? X^D

Hee, yay! ^____^

I wasn't stuck because of battles or boss fights or anything though--I usually fix that by leveling up more. I got stuck because I was lost. XDDD;;; Usually I'm okay with NES/SNES/Early Gameboy music, but ugh... I actually cringed hearing one of the songs in FFV. :/ (I believe it was the "OMG GET OUTTA THERE" theme--that was annoying) Thank god for instrumentals though, at least. :33

Haha. XDD At least they've got more facial expression than in FFIV where all they could do was lower their heads or raise their arms. XDD;;

I loved that Orgy song (though my gateway drug to them was "Stitches," hee! :D) and I remember downloading a Chobits AMV to that song and loving it... yeah, you can tell that song got around that fandom fast. XDD

But YAY! Downloading~
