I should reread that book sometime. Poor Basil :c and you know, one of the things I remember most about the book is how overdramatic everyone is: I recall a lot of the time, people would "[fling] themselves into a chair" and "'dialogue goes here!' [character] cried". Flinging and crying out. It amused me.
