If there's one thing that I absolutely hate in the entire world, it's animal abusers. It doesn't matter how old the culprits are: adult, teenager, or kid, some of the things they do to innocent little cats, dogs, etc. are so horrifying it makes me sick. *shudders and hugs Amanda*

I totally agree with you. Doesn't matter HOW old a child is. If you know a kid's too young to handle an animal the right way, DON'T LET THE KID NEAR IT.

::agrees entirely:: Animals understand me a lot more than humans do, and I shall stand by them. I mean, take an example: I meet a new person, and they give me weird looks and either mumble to the "cooler" people about "what's with that girl?", or just pretend I'm not there. As for animals... Well, sometimes I get squirrels following me when I walk around the yard enough. ^^; At least someone likes me, ne?

Somehow, an animal can read your mind and be there when you need them too... my dog tends to stay with my family and I whenever we're depressed/lonely/scared. It's really comforting.
