Oh Sonic. He's like a symbol of hope somehow. No matter what kind of crap happens, he zips by in our hearts with that blasted grin. ;;
I've been a fan of Mario longer than Sonic (though I certainly "knew" of Sonic as a kid), and didn't really get into him until I was in my mid-teens, but now that it's been a few years, it's... waaaah. I'm feeling the nostalgia for him too. Which was why I was surprised to hear about Sonic Generations at first, thinking it was fanart and then, "...Oh my gosh. This is a real game."
I had fun with Shadow The Hedgehog too, even if it really was an awful game and it frustrated the hell out of me at times. :P
Don't forget the cliches and the painful dialogue! :P THIS IS WHO I AM.
I've been saying this since I started fangirling him, but you can't be a fan of Original the Character Shadow without making fun of him. ;D
