here_inmyheadSuper Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is a game that means a lot to me. It and Earthbound are the two games I hold close to my heart, for the story, the characters, the humor, the music, the nostalgia... even downright creepiness and sadness. I got Super Mario RPG one Christmas, expecting Kirby Super Star; I couldn't complain though, it was also another game I wanted. Little did I know how captivated I'd be, to feel so strongly about one game. I don't know where to begin, other than the uniqueness of its world and how there'll never be another Mario game like it. The rare combo of Square and Nintendo is like a dream come true. (Ahh, the days before Square was an ass. XD *SHOT'D!* But now's not the time to be bitter!) Everytime I play the game, I find something new and magical. So lemme share that magic with you guys... a lovely adventure that appeals to the childhood and the heart. ♥

She's actually looking around, but I really like this shot. It's like Peach is breaking the 4th wall and staring straight at you, asking you if we know something she doesn't.

Silly Peach. Next time, yell "FIRE!" if you wanna get rescued. Don't you read the safety manual? XD

Mostly just ingame scenarios from here on out. But it's nice watching Mario freak out before he stubs his toe on the Spiny.

Pipes are crappy Hide-and-Seek places 'cause you never know when you're gonna get stuck.

"What!? Oh no, it's-a in my shoe!"

Mallow's adorable. T-T I didn't think I was gonna like him at first, but he grew on me and came to absolutely adore him. Especially near the end. Oh GOD. T-T He's super developed and amazing, and he grows and changes and waaaaaah. ;-; Battle-wise he's a magic-user and healer. His attack sucks, but he's got some neat spells and makes a nice alternative if you don't want to use Peach or Geno. XD One of the interesting things he does is Psychopath, which not only reads the HP of an opponent, but reads their minds as well. It's fun getting to know what your foes say, particularly if you're looking for bunnies for art or fiction and such. XD

Or he could be conducting a Choir. Hallelujah!

Geno. He's like Jesus, in a way. In all seriousness, he's my favorite Mario character. ♥ Hell, my favorite character of all time, a spot shared with Shadow, Jeff, Meta Knight and Mewtwo. :o He's the magical powerhouse of your party, capable of blowing foes to smithereens in one hit. (More on that later) He's also the fastest in your team, so he always goes first~ ♥ Like any traditional Black Mage, however, he is SUPER frail. So be careful to keep him alive in early stages. :o
I have NO idea if you even fight this guy in that kinda landscape at all. Oh well, you can look at Geno's awesome. XD

Bowser is the best thing to come with this game ever. Huh, Geno? Oh yeah, him too. BUT BOWSER IS FUCKING HARDCORE He's the strongest offensive member of your team, and is built like a tank. Hell, the only thing he sucks at is magic (which he doesn't need. ;D) and speed. And speed's not really an issue in this game. In other words, Bowser is never cooler than he was in Super Mario RPG~ ♥♥♥
I'd be ranting too if someone were spying on me in the tower Judge Turpin*Style. And let's not talk about the self-flogging scene.
What makes it creepier is that the stalker's still watching her as she cries. oO;;;
Peach: Resident White Mage! She's hard to use at first, 'cause her attack and defenses are abysmal. Then she starts receiving badass weapons. AND she becomes the best healer in the game. AND she gets Psychebomb, which I'll talk about laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate in the game. Let's say it scares even Mario.

I never realized Geno was a powerhouse; never used him past getting Bowser. My final group was always Mario-Bowser-Peach. I have very distinct memories of the Final Boss smacking everybody around hard -- and doing 2 damage to Bowser. HE IS BADASS.
And Title of the Song reference ftw. So fitting, too.
I eagerly await more, while I go off to try and get through Earthbound.

XD) He's known for the famous Geno Whirl, where if you time the buttons right, it deals 9999 damage to the foe. This helped folks beat Exor in milliseconds, though it generally doesn't work for bosses. XD (And I never use it 'cause it makes the game too easy for me. XDDDD!) W00T BOWSER
