The gaming party was a disappointment. Either the girls didn't care about playing the Wii or had absolutely no idea how to play video games whatsoever. (A girl didn't even know what an NES or SNES is, and another hadn't even HEARD of the Wii) Albeit, I was patient--in Mario Party 8, three different girls played Daisy, and I shown them how to use the Wiimote--only for them to leave when they got bored and passing the mote to some other friend of their's. The last girl turned off the second mote--causing the Wii to shut down. So much for my rip roarin' time with Toadette.

Maybe I have my expectations too high. But it's college. At Austin of all places. You'd think I'd have at LEAST a few video gaming people in my dorm, but no. I can't be the only kid here who's heard of Playstation or Nintendo in general. Hell, I'll meet up with a FF7 fangirl if it means seeing SOMEONE who's interested in video games. Great, time to scrounge the outskirts of the city for arcades.
